Dr. Felix Yang, MD, FACC, FHRS is Associate Director of Cardiac Electrophysiology and Director of the Lead Extraction Service at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Yang completed his medical school, internship and residency training at Cornell (NY Presbyterian Hospital) where he was an Assistant Chief Resident. He subsequently completed his fellowship in Cardiovascular Medicine at Beth Israel Medical Center, where he served as Chief Fellow, and a second fellowship in Cardiac Electrophysiology at Montefiore Medical Center. He focused on atrial fibrillation outcomes research at VA Palo Alto following his EP fellowship and continues to be active in research as an investigator in multiple cutting-edge EP technologies and procedures. His practice focuses on device implantation as well as ablation of atrial fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia. Dr. Yang is a member of several professional organizations and is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the Heart Rhythm Society.
