Peter Noseworthy, MD is a Professor of Medicine and a Cardiac Electrophysiologist specializing in catheter ablation of cardiac arrhythmias. Dr. Noseworthy maintains a federally funded research program centered on improving the care of patients with cardiac arrhythmias. He has a concurrent role in the Mayo Clinic Robert D. and Patricia E. Kern Center for the Science of Health Care Delivery where he works with the Optum Labs Data Warehouse dataset to examine outcomes in patients with various heart rhythm disorders, particularly the prevention of stroke related to atrial fibrillation. He is serves as the director of the Mayo Clinic Heart Rhythm and Physiologic Monitoring Laboratory where he lead a multidisciplinary team working to develop novel ECG software-based analysis tools.
