Jens Erik Nielsen-Kudsk, MD, DMSc is Professor of Cardiology and Head of Structural Heart Interventions at Aarhus University Hospital, Denmark. He has authored more than 180 scientific papers, many of those focused on left atrial appendage closure. He is involved in many LAAC clinical trials and he is one of the pioneers in using cardiac CT and intracardiac echocardiography to guide LAAC.
