Arash Aryana, MD

Dr. Aryana is a board-certified cardiac electrophysiologist who received his training at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA. He has been practicing in Sacramento, CA since 2008 and specializes in the management of cardiac arrhythmias including both clinical and interventional therapies, including catheter ablation and cardiac arrhythmia device implantation. He has authored more than 150 peer-reviewed scientific abstracts, manuscripts and book chapters. In addition, he is the co-director of a nationally-recognized percutaneous epicardial mapping and ablation training program. To date, Dr. Aryana has trained over a hundred-and-twenty practicing cardiac electrophysiologists and cardiac electrophysiology fellows throughout the country on this approach.
Dr. Aryana is also an Associate Professor of cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology at California Northstate University College of Medicine (Elk Grove, CA). Furthermore, he serves as the Medical Director of the Cardiovascular Services at the Dignity Health Heart and Vascular Institute and the Director of Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at Mercy General Hospital in Sacramento. Dr. Aryana also serves as the co-chair of the national cardiac electrophysiology clinical standards committee for CommonSpirit Health, which operates more than 140 hospitals and 700 clinics across the US.
